Community Outreach — Our Way of Giving Back
Royce Builders focuses on three distinct areas of community service - Education, Health & Welfare, and Civic Enrichment. We encourage our associates to give back to the communities where they live and work by dedicating their time, talent and resources. Our hope is to enhance our community's quality of life as well as the lives of those who live and work in the area by helping to strengthen families and build community connections.
Crawfish Boil for the March of Dimes
Thanks to everyone who came out and participated with RoyceBuilders.com, The SandTrap Grill and Jack FM Radio for our first ever Crawfish Boil benefiting the March of Dimes. March of Dimes: March for Babies
Royce is proud to be the 2008 Presenting Sponsor for March of Dimes - Houston!! The Houston Chapter of March of Dimes is the largest walk in America. We would like thank everyone who joined our team and marched with us on March Day 2008.
March of Dimes - March for Babies - Houston took place on Sunday, April 27th at the University of Houston. The RoyceBuilders.com was over 150 members strong and enjoyed the walk and lunch in the RoyceBuilders.com tent afterwards.

HomeAid Houston's Project Playhouse
HomeAid Houston, a charity sponsored by the Greater Houston Builders Association and the local HomeAid National, launched Project Playhouse Monday, June 25 as the elaborate 8-by-10-foot playhouse officially moved into Minute Maid Park. The Houston Astros and Royce Homes teamed with HomeAid Houston for this fundraising effort.
"It has always been a priority for Royce Builders to give back to the community," said Shawn Speer, Royce Builders Texas Regional Manager. "We were more than happy to sign on."
Raffle tickets were $5 and the proceeds went to Houston HomeAid. The winning ticket, bought by Horace Gager Jr. of Channelview, Texas was drawn on Sunday, July 29, 2007.
March of Dimes: Walk America
Royce Builders was proud to be a Principle Sponsor for the 2007 Walk America with the March of Dimes. The March of Dimes effort in the Houston community is the largest walk in America. Walk America 2007 took place on Sunday, April 29th at 9:00 AM. Visit www.walkamerica.org to find out more information about the March of Dimes and donation opportunities.
The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. They carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives.
Royce is also pleased to announce that for 2008 we will be the Presenting Sponsor for Walk America and the Houston March of Dimes.
2006 Holiday Adopt-A-Family Program
Royce Builders was excited to announce its 2006 Adopt-A-Family program benefiting Houston area families in need. The chosen families received food and gifts for their children!

Breedlove Quads' First Birthday

The Breedlove family along with Royce Builders hosted a birthday party for the Quads in the SouthFork subdivision, where they announced that Royce Builders has started an education fund for each of the girls. As a special surprise, Royce also donated another year in their home rent-free.
Royce Builders is honored to donate the following to the Breedlove family for an additional year:
- the use of a two-story, 3182-square-foot home for one year in the South Houston community of SouthFork, near Pearland
- monthly home maintenance through our HomeStar Customer Care Program
- yard maintenance for one year
- appliances, including a refrigerator, washer and dryer
- all utility costs for one year
- insurance

Teaming up with the Houston Dynamo
Royce Builders is in your corner! Royce Builders donated $100 for every Dynamo corner kick at home during the 2006 season. There were 150 corner kicks which is a donated total of $15,000. Way to go Dynamo!
The money benefitted the RoyceBuilders.com Foundation for Youth and the Houston Dynamo Kicks for Kids Foundation!

Building Homes. Building Blocks.
Every shot blocked by the Houston Rockets got a Houston area student closer to college. During the 2004-2005 Houston Rockets season, Royce Builders teamed up with the Houston Rockets to send high school students to college. For every blocked shot by the Houston Rockets this past season, the Rockets organization donated $50 to the Royce Builders.com Foundation for Youth. The Royce Builders.com Foundation for Youth is dedicated to helping Houston area students achieve their dream of attending college. The grand total donated was $18,000 for 360 blocked shots.
Royce Builders Foundation for Youth
The Roycebuilders.com Foundation for Youth is a non-profit organization dedicated to awarding college scholarships to Houston area students. Formerly Texas Colonial Foundation for Youth, this organization was founded in conjunction with Telemundo 47 in 1998. Since its inception, the Roycebuilders.com Foundation for Youth has awarded over $870,000 in scholarships to students to assist them in achieving their educational goals. Roycebuilders.com Freshman Business Initiative
Royce Builders is an underwriter for the Freshman Business Initiative at Texas A&M's Mays Business School. This is a program that brings together small groups of freshmen with student peer advisors and faculty mentors, focusing on preparation for university life, basic business leadership principles, and other skills ordinarily outside the scope of traditional business courses.
The Sunshine Kids
This year Royce Builders sponsored the Craig Biggio Celebrity Golf Classic benefiting The Sunshine Kids. The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization providing exciting, positive group activities for children living with cancer.
Teamed up with the Houston Astros in 2004, 2005
Royce Builders donated $50 for a total of 569 strike outs thrown by the
pitchers at home during the 2005 season totaling $28,450 donated. In 2004, Royce Builders donated $50 for a total of 675 strike outs, totaling $33,750 donated.
Royce Builders teamed up with the Astros pitching staff to send Houston area high school seniors to college. The money benefited the RoyceBuilders.com Foundation for Youth and the Astros in Action Foundation!
Royce Reindeer 2004 Adopt-A-Family Program
Thank you to
and the Royce Builders employees who helped to brighten the spirits of 31 needy families this Holiday Season. Over $12,000 was donated for food, gifts, clothing and toys for Houston area families.
Royce Cares 
As a Diamond Sponsor of the Annual Komen Race for the Cure®, Royce Builders launched a month-long Royce Cares promotion to help raise awareness for Breast Cancer. Events included an educational luncheon attracting 150 Realtors and a public event with many educational activities and blood drive. Over 50 employees participated in the Houston Race last October.
Public Service
Royce Builders provides financial assistance to community service personnel such as police officers, fire fighters and educators. We also donate $1,000 to the school or public department upon the purchase of a home.
